去开会后就得和老师们讲解有关smm versi 4.0的最新消息，再次分发表格给同学们填写最新的资料后还要将资料输入电脑。林副就召集所有级任730到校，在行动室开会。首先，感谢老师们都准时出席，更感谢Alvin大清早上班帮忙set up projector，mic，冷气等等。

在讲解前真的发抖，真是辛苦了上台参加讲故事比赛的同学。一直想个方法让自己冷静，紧张中看见老师们都认真聆听，自己就有责任讲解得更清楚，不好让大家听了以后都不知如何着手。老师们，或许你们不知道你们的专心的眼神是我的镇定剂！渐渐地适应了。不知道自己表现得如何，只是长话短说不耽误老师上课的时间。散会后才发现有几项漏了，这次又要劳烦林副去通知，真是不好意思。

说真的当时临时换我去开会时，真的很不爽！忽然间，整个人沉了下来。我知道开会后会有很多事情要跟进。用了多天的时间说服自己从另一个方面想：幸好这次是我去开会，让我先了解；要不然明年一月呈资料时会“死得更快，更难看”。新学年，身为级任的已经够忙，还要忙这些就有点说不过去。现在学，总比明年手忙脚乱来得好！不管是不是我接手，至少又学了多一样技能。慢慢的，接受了事实。接受后的心情开朗了，原来不把它当“讨厌的事”反而事情办得更顺利。

这次的大工程需要多方面的配合才能依时完成。在林副的领导下，直到现在还相当顺利。话又说回来，不是我要“捧”，而真的是要感谢林副和所有的级任老师给以充分的合作。今天才分发表格就有级任集在一起讨论要如何向学生讲解，要特别注意哪个细节。大家牺牲时间、精神为了做好工作，为了学生的前途。这种付出的精神值得赞扬！我想只有州立才会有这种认真的情况吧！因为这几天接到其他州属老师的电话都是大吐苦水，有的被级任讲啦，骂啦。。。。。。可怜。拿自己和他们比，我幸福多了！感恩。

中秋之夜

7.7-magnitude quake hit South Sumatra, tremors felt in Peninsula

2009/09/30

KUALA LUMPUR: A powerful 7.7-magnitude earthquake hit Indonesia's south Sumatra at 6.16pm today, sending tremors across several areas in Peninsular Malaysia.

The Meteorological Department said the quake's epicentre was 60km southwest of Padang and 452km southwest of Melaka. It said it was monitoring the situation closely.

In the Klang Valley, people rushed out of building which were shaking from the tremors.

Meanwhile, Reuters reported that the quake was 7.9 on the Richter scale and that a tsunami alert had been issued by the Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre.

AFP reported that the quake that struck off Indonesia’s Sumatra island today, destroyed large buildings and starting fires in the major city of Padang, geologists and reports said.

“A number of hotels in Padang have been destroyed,” Indonesian geophysics and meteorology agency tsunami warning head Rahmat Triyono said, adding the agency did not release a tsunami alert.

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre in Hawaii however issued a tsunami watch for Indonesia, Malaysia, India and Thailand.

“Up to now we haven’t been able to reach Padang, communications have been cut,” Triyono said.

The quake struck at sea at 5:16 pm (1016 GMT) at a fairly deep 87 kilometres (54 miles), 53 kilometres northwest of Padang city in West Sumatra province, the United States Geological Survey said.

Local news channel Metro TV reported fires amid the wreckage in Padang, a city of 900,000, where panicked residents had run onto the streets as the quake hit.

There were no immediate reports of deaths or injuries.

The quake was felt in the capital Jakarta 940 kilometres away.

Victims of the tsunami that swept across the South Pacific had only minutes to escape the deadly waves and in some cases didn't receive alerts of danger, despite years of work to upgrade early-warning systems across the region.

At least 99 people were killed and dozens left missing by the tsunami, which inundated tourist resorts and local villages after a massive 8.0-magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Samoa early Tuesday morning local time. Disaster authorities warned the death toll could rise significantly over the next few days as the full scale of the disaster – much of which occurred in remote areas – is assessed.

恋上谷中城~~Mid Valley

当还是没车一族时，谷中城不是我的目的地因为要转换交通工具才能到达，时间上不划算。现在，每个星期至少会和谷中城约会一次。周日去最为理想，原因是易找泊车位，泊车费较便宜。即使不买东西，去那儿观察忙于购物的城市人也是一种享受。很笨吧！

我想：这种一站式的中上阶层购物商场是它成功吸引顾客的原因之一。从日常用品到奢侈品，只要你说得出，大多数可在这里找到。我最喜欢到Garden的foodcourt走走看看最近有什么新餐点。哈哈

今天，我们的目标是台湾著名的鼎泰丰。去年到台北师范大学进修时就曾经见识过鼎泰丰的魅力。坐落在台北信义路的鼎泰丰可说是人潮络绎，想要拿个位都要在店外面排队。队伍不是十几二十人，而是排到几间店的长度。看到时只发出一声：“哇！真的吗？”。

先让我们了解鼎泰丰的历史：
泰丰是由现在的经营者杨纪华先生的父亲杨秉彝所创立的，店名取自杨秉彝早期工作的“恒泰丰油行”。杨先生原本在“恒泰丰油行”担任送货员，在“恒泰丰油行”解散后，杨先生自行创业卖油，为感念“恒泰丰油行”老板的恩情，取名为“鼎泰丰油行”。 但因市场竞争关系，在1980年开始转型贩卖小笼包。当时有一位老兵很会做小笼包，跟杨老板商量在他店门口摆一张小桌子让他做点小生意，结果小笼包生意极佳。于是杨老板看见了商机就跟老兵学做小笼包，最后才把油行收了，专心做小笼包生意，逐渐发展成目前的跨国连锁餐厅规模。

鼎泰丰信义店是鼎泰丰的本店，位于台北市大安区信义路二段、永康街口，入口处悬挂于右任亲题的“鼎泰丰油行”五字。鼎泰丰身为小笼包的知名品牌之一，因此顾客群以慕名而来的观光客为多，经营上也走观光餐厅的精致、高价位路线，以小笼包的单价来说，约是一般小笼包的3～4倍。每到用餐时分，店门口附近总是挤满国内外观光客或老饕，可说是永康街的特殊景观之一。

由于本人不吃猪肉，招待员好像有点被为难，哈哈哈。
我问：“请问鼎泰丰有什么餐点是没有猪肉？”
招待：（有点难堪）“我去厨房问问。”
糟糕，搞不好厨师待会出来拉我出去。哈哈
招待：“那么，旦旦面是素食，鱼肉。。。。。。”

结果我们点了以下这几种美食，大开口福：
不好意思啦，为了我只好叫饺子而不是小笼包。因为小笼包都是pork的。

911日：杨旭珍老师退休 咯~~~~

911，大多数会联想到美国。

但是

2009-09-11是感恩、幸福的日子！！
今天，全体教职员在交流空间为杨老师举办一个简单，隆重的生日会+荣休仪式。杨老师自中学毕业后便在吉隆坡德威伸路州立华小执教至今，算一算应该有三十多年吧！她陪州立走过无数岁月，从简陋的校舍到如今富丽堂皇的校舍。杨老师等付出很多心血。哇！fisrt posting就教到现在实属不易。除了杨老师，林锦清老师是另一位在州立执教三十年以上的资深老师。林老师则选择两年后才退休。从我三年前来到州立便与杨老师和其他六位三年级班班主任共事。资深的杨老师和廖瑞美老师是我们的活字典，一问马上可得到答案。虽然杨老师退休了，但还会继续为州立服务。你看我们这些晚辈多幸福啊！哈哈哈。我很感恩多年来，大家都相处愉快！很难得！

课后，副校长和老师们便到Yaki-yaki为杨老师庆祝。位于Federal Hotel 附近的Yaki-yaki（non-halal Japanese Buffer）一级棒！现在又有promotion，high-tea才RM18.90，食物丰富又好吃。值得一吃~！！yummy。。。。。。顺便为Yaki-yaki打广告，哈哈哈！

Sepet Actress : Sharifah Amani (Orked)

a bored afternoon was changed after chweechee called me for dinner. actually we were planned to eat crab but it was a nightmare for me to eat seafood again.

story begin::::
this was caused by the incident after trip to malacca during school holiday. i was diarrhea and fever after meal at seremban, on the way back to kl. the following day was school's extra class. i was so worried was H1N1.

the following day, i asked my sister accompany me to find my PTK exam school: SMK Kiaramas. it was situated near mont kiara. we drove through jln.kuching. after found that school we visited to Ikea and Ikano. diarrhea again had broke my mood to go around. finally went back home to rest. after reached home, vomit five times. almost vomit out everything in my stomach, just felt will die soon, so terrible. the first person i want to call for rescue was chweechee but she not in kl, second is siowleelee, god....is really terrible. luckily my sister was around. i was almost recovered after a good rest.

after that, my sister and her friend wanted to have a meet at mid valley Purple Cane, we drove there after visited to TianHou temple. i ate nothing, felt extremely cold. without finish the dinner i went to pharmacy bought a Microlife temperature tester and some medicine. the diarrhea medicine named Vacontil saved my life. Vacontil was the medicine i prepared for the cambodia and vietnam trip last year. who knows finally i ate it in my own country....so sad.

i "earn" a lesson: dont ever eat lala again in my life.
now, even is my favourite seafood:crab, also fail to stimulate my appetite.

finally chweechee and i went to mid valley for a lunch + dinner. after enjoyed the meal we walked around to enjoy the joyful environment. there were many people around to shop for hari raya as well, i think. when i looked at a poster "raya special offer" starbuck, coffee bean, pizza hut........Rotiboy!! wahhhh a bread that i like to eat! we can smell the bread few meters aways.

on the way to buy Rotiboy, there was a roadshow by silkyGirl. a big Yasmin Ahmad poster had attracted my sight, moreover there was a beautiful girl beside the poster!
is sharifah!! i shouted.

without thinking of anything, i go nearer and asked permission to take a photo with her.
Is great .......she was very friendly

when i asked:"may i have a shoot with you?"
"sure, you are welcome" she said.
"nice to meet you!" i said.
"nice to meet you too" she said.
ahahahhahah a simple conversation made me happy all day long.


Sharifah Amani profile:

Sharifah Amani Syed Zainal Rashid Al-Yahya (born June 10, 1986, Kuala Lumpur) is a Malaysian actress. She is the second daughter of veteran Malaysian actress, Fatimah Abu Bakar.Sharifah is of Malay-Chinese-Arab-Bengali parentage and speaks fluent English, Malay and some Hindi. As a teen writer for the New Straits Times' YouthQuake, Amani covered assignments like the Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla press conference, concerts by Bollywood stars, Deep Purple and the 3rd IIFA Awards in Genting Highlands. Unfortunately, Lisu is brutally murdered and Fara, as the only witness of the murder, goes insane and is committed to a mental asylum.

She is the main cast in Muallaf, where she acts with Sharifah Aleysha, another one of her younger sisters. This film is also directed by Yasmin Ahmad. In order to fulfill her role in the movie, she shaved her head bald because in one of the scenes in the movie her character's head is shaved by the father for being too 'wild'.

南伯儿 Number`~~~

南伯儿！！！ number

上个星期回到古晋度假，一个早上妈妈拿了一份报纸问我：“你看看这是谁？”
我惊讶地喊道：“淑燕！” 即使多年不见一看照片马上知道是她！一位曾经为我的中学生涯涂上色彩的朋友，也是中学同学--BoonNgee的姐姐。真的很久很久没联络了！还好能在国际时报专题报到阅读到Number的近况。

和大家分享南伯儿创作的路程：文章来自《中国网》

来自马来西亚的南伯儿，小时候觉得自己的歌声很奇怪，绝不敢在同学面前表现自己，直到高中毕业以后，参与本地一个音乐创作团体梦飞行，培养出对创作及音乐的天分。她在学习吉他时，常常练累了就抱着吉他入睡，睡醒再练，才练就了今天杰出的吉他弹奏技巧。

南伯儿说她以前不爱看书，但创作需要用字优美。因此开始积极看书，为的就是认识更多的字，创作更好的音乐，2002年，参加李伟菘音乐教室主办的《东音奖》，南伯儿所创作的《回音谷》一举囊括4个奖项，即荣获最佳作曲、最佳作词、最佳编曲、最佳演绎及最高荣誉东音奖。

生活系女生独背吉他远走天涯

从此，改变了南伯尔的一生，一个爱唱歌，自 始自终坚持唱着自己歌谣的女生，一个人背着吉他远赴他乡，寻找心中向往已久的演唱舞台。2002年，她正式签约成为专职音乐人，当时，著名音乐制作人林琼 玲被南伯儿的歌声所吸引，觉得她长得较小，但是唱歌却有着巨人般的力量，因此把她签下。然而，南伯儿却好像是好运气的绝缘体，她的音乐道路一直走得不顺 利，无法预知的变化像洪水猛兽般朝她逼近。当时，原本准备发片了，但却与“非典”碰上，结果南伯儿的发片变得遥遥无期。不过，她一直处之泰然，随缘而行。 南伯儿说“我接受批评，不怕碰钉子，这6年来我好像一块海绵，不断吸收好音乐，提升自己。（海潮）

2009年8月21日（第二学期第一次假期）的最后一课欢送了两位陪我渡过人生首三年执鞭时光的学生。一位是Shannon Lauren,将转去国际学校；另一位是李瑞文，将移民到加拿大。

Shannon 是一位华巫混血儿，但是她的华文语法掌握得非常好。唯一，她不喜欢用华语和我交谈，一开口就顺理成章bla。。。bla。。。bla。。。。她就是缺乏以华语沟通的自信心。每年她都会送我至少两本英语小说，很厚很厚的那种。每次收到Shannon的礼物时都会自嘲是那些书读我，不是我去读它们。哈哈哈！今天也不例外，Shannon送了一本《Mary Shannon》给我。Shannon：我会记得你送的书，还有你上课专心的样子！

瑞文是一位说华语带英语腔的孩子。他四年级时，我才开始教他科学至今。其实，现在班上每个同学最羡慕他，因为他不用参加即将来临的UPSR考试。当每个人啃书时，他可能在温哥华看枫叶飘落的美景。想必他也会很很很想念我们。想念一起做实验、写报告、没做功课被骂。。。。。。的日子。

对这班孩子，我只有四个字可形容：“又爱又恨”！爱他们的真。真正以心交友。最难得可看见的是这班的男女同学可以一起吃早餐，是一大班的那种，还有不管在篮球场还是食堂见到我都会大大声叫：“田老师！”一遇到刚考完科学更惨，老远就问你“田老师，科学改了没？我考到怎样？”你以为老师是机器？一考完就改完？哈哈，就是喜欢他们的积极。虽然成绩上还有很大的进步空间，但是他们的态度令我倍感欣慰。恨他们的是一有话题就会讲个没完没了，暂时把你当透明，要把声调调高稍微压得过，才可以开始上课！真+心+爱的6B班。


瑞文：孩子加油吧！前途在自己手上，老师能给你的就只有这些了。祝福你~~

15 Malaysia

15Malaysia是15部由本土导演、演员、音乐家和政治人物联手合作，勾画马来西亚特色的短篇电影。这项活动是由Pete Teo制作，并由P1赞助。

很期待看着15部短片，好难等哦！两天发放一部，多久都要等毕竟是大马导演的骄傲。一直以为外国月亮比较圆，这下可证实马来西亚的影片，导演也不赖！印象中以前的媒体好像也较少报道本土作品相反现很积极让大马人民知道我们也有好影片！

谢谢您，陈天然老师！

骤然听闻陈老师病逝，好难过。我很幸运来得及参加陈老师的讲座。上个月林副邀请陈老师为本校老师进行一场规范正音讲座（LDP）。当天我和几位老师得带本校田径校队到3间友校参加邀请赛，因此只参加下半段的讲座。陈老师在短短的时间内为各位老师解答了教学上的疑难。当场的学习气氛很轻松，各位老师都勇于发问。陈老师不厌其烦地解答。陈老师还特地留了一份交通标志正规词语表给本校老师。此外，陈老师还一直鼓励老师们参加普通话水平测试。

讲座会将近尾声，敏玲老师问了陈老师：“陈老师，今年贵庚？”
陈老师回答：“古来稀。”
在场的老师：“哦，七十岁！看不出！”

还记得陈老师说人生要珍惜，过得一天得一天，都不知道明天是否还在。

陈老师：“谢谢您！”

悼念Yasmin Ahmad

自上个星期去，心情就像海上的波浪，潮起潮落。

先是警长的长子死于煤气爆炸到赵明福的冤死，今天拨电回家得知一位在我中学时期经常载我去上课外活动的auntie因癌症离开了，才四十多岁。同是教育工作者的她是个很棒的母亲。同一时间娱乐圈又失去了一名很棒，比人早几倍奉行1 Malaysia的著名导演Yasmin Ahmad。

这几件事情再加上最近刚观赏最佳日本外语片《Departures》，心情更加复杂。无形中让我领悟到人生真的很短。我一直在想何时会轮到我，到时会怎样。一直在思考生与死的问题。

谈到Yasmin, 我是从爱fm吉安主持的考古地带认识了这名导演。前几年就留意到她的著作。可惜，有些还没看。她所制作的佳节短片和广告是我的最爱。yasmin的作品多数发自内心，很人性化，容易打动观众。她所要带出的资讯非常直接，一针见血。

对马来西亚本地爱好 电影者而言，雅丝敏阿末（Yasmin Ahmad）並不是陌生的名字，每年在各大节庆前后推出的国油（Petronas）广告，温馨且紧扣人心，一直深受国人喜爱，印裔父子同庆国庆、华裔婆孙 同庆新年、三大种族男童成“沙煲兄弟”，还有“LRT让座位”国民意识广告……这些感人、温馨的广告，都是出自雅丝敏之手。除此，Yasmin的著作还有《Sepet，单眼皮》，《Gubra》,《Mukhsin》，《Talentime》和无法在大马上映的《Muallaf》. 再见，雅思敏！~~












2007《国庆日广告回顾》的《Tan Hong Ming in Love》的演员真情流露，绝不造作，营造出一个非常和谐的气氛。广告中的小孩陈鸿明在接受访问时，显得很害羞腼 腆，表情变化不断，真的很可爱。当马来女孩Umi回答她的男朋友是他时，陈鸿明简直就乐翻了，高兴与极度兴奋的表情表露无遗。两小无猜的关系，的确让很多 人羡慕不已。这广告让我想起童年的时光，是多么地无忧无虑。

导演：谁你你的女朋友？
鸿明：她的名字是Umi，Umi Qazrina。
鸿明：我喜欢她。(补充)
导演：为什么你喜欢她？
鸿明：喜欢带耳环的她、喜欢绑马尾的她，Errr...她漂亮。

过后鸿明就主动牵着Umi的手，双双对对温馨地离开现场...留下一个结论给导演，小孩懂得相亲相爱。连小孩读懂的友爱。

Action Plan for Schools during Influenza A H1N1 Pandemic

To all parents

• All students must provide contact number of their parents or home to this respective school. Information must be up to date.
• All schools must have 3 person-in-charge’s contact number in case of emergency.

When School Closure Announced

• All students must observe home quarantine guideline by the authority (1 week). Eg. cannot attend tuition, school co-curricular activities, shopping, visiting etc.
• During this quarantine period, if you have the following symptom eg fever, cough, sore throat, you must seek medical advice immediately at the designated hospital. i.e Sg Buloh Hospital, UMMC, Klang Hospital or telephone 03-26983757, 019-2299397
• During this quarantine period, students are adviced to eat a balanced diet and to have sufficient rest.
• If you have any query, you can contact KKM (Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia) or respective school office
• During the school closure period, only authorized personnel are allowed to be in the school.

When Index Case Is Confirmed

• Contact tracing to be done by KKM and assisted by the respective schools. This includes close contact like car pooling/bus, tuition, co-curriculum activity etc.
• Parents must make full disclosure and cooperate fully with KKM and school officials.
• Air conditioning should not be used in classrooms and windows should be opened for ventilation.
• Personal hygiene must be observed at all times, eg. cough etiquette (coughing into tissue), hand washing, no shaking of hands, no sharing of fork and spoon, chopsticks etc.

What should I do if I get sick?

If you live in areas where people have been identified with novel H1N1 flu and become ill with influenza-like symptoms, including fever, body aches, runny or stuffy nose, sore throat, nausea, or vomiting or diarrhea, you should stay home and avoid contact with other people. Staying at home means that you should not leave your home except to seek medical care. This means avoiding normal activities, including work, school, travel, shopping, social events, and public gatherings

If you have severe illness or you are at high risk for flu complications, contact your health care provider or seek medical care. Your health care provider will determine whether flu testing or treatment is needed

If you become ill and experience any of the following warning signs, seek emergency medical care.

In children, emergency warning signs that need urgent medical attention include:

• Fast breathing or trouble breathing
• Not drinking enough fluids
• Severe or persistent vomiting
• Not waking up or not interacting
• Being so irritable that the child does not want to be held
• Flu-like symptoms improve but then return with fever and worse cough

In adults, emergency warning signs that need urgent medical attention include:

• Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
• Pain or pressure in the chest or abdomen
• Sudden dizziness
• Confusion
• Severe or persistent vomiting
• Flu-like symptoms improve but then return with fever and worse cough

What can I do to protect myself from getting sick?

• Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. Throw the tissue in the trash after you use it.
• Wash your hands often with soap and water, especially after you cough or sneeze. Alcohol-based hand cleaners are also effective.
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth. Germs spread this way.
• Try to avoid close contact with sick people.
• Stay home if you are sick for 7 days after your symptoms begin or until you have been symptom-free for 24 hours, whichever is longer. This is to keep from infecting others and spreading the virus further.

Other important actions that you can take are:

• Follow public health advice regarding school closures, avoiding crowds and other social distancing measures.
• Be prepared in case you get sick and need to stay home for a week or so; a supply of over-the-counter medicines, alcohol-based hand rubs, tissues and other related items might could be useful and help avoid the need to make trips out in public while you are sick and contagious.

What is the best way to keep from spreading the virus through coughing or sneezing?
If you are sick, limit your contact with other people as much as possible. If you are sick, stay home for 7 days after your symptoms begin or until you have been symptom-free for 24 hours, whichever is longer. Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing or sneezing. Put your used tissue in the waste basket. Then, clean your hands, and do so every time you cough or sneeze.

What is the best technique for washing my hands to avoid getting the flu?
Washing your hands often will help protect you from germs. Wash with soap and water or clean with alcohol-based hand cleaner. CDC recommends that when you wash your hands -- with soap and warm water -- that you wash for 15 to 20 seconds. When soap and water are not available, alcohol-based disposable hand wipes or gel sanitizers may be used. You can find them in most supermarkets and drugstores. If using gel, rub your hands until the gel is dry. The gel doesn't need water to work; the alcohol in it kills the germs on your hands.

A(H1N1) : SJKC Jalan Davidson, KL closed

KUALA LUMPUR: SJK (C) Jalan Davidson at Jalan Hang Jebat here has been closed for a week after two local transmissions of the influenza A(H1N1) virus were detected in the school.

Two other schools with infected students – SRK Assunta 2 in Petaling Jaya and SM Section 9 Shah Alam – will also be closed if authorities discover local transmission of the virus there.

Health Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai said eight cases of the virus were confirmed yesterday, including five schoolchildren – an 11-year-old from SRK Assunta 2, a 16-year-old from SM Shah Alam, and three at Class 5 I of SJK(C) Jalan Davidson.

He said all 2,100 students and staff members of SJK(C) Jalan Davidson had been home quarantined, after the National Security Council chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin agreed to close the school until Friday.
